Support Agency for Rural & Human Association’s Development (SARHAD)is legally recognized and operates under multiple statutory registrations in Pakistan. It is registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). It is also registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, dated July 28, 2003, with Registration No. 3050. In addition, the organization has been registered with the Charity Commission of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since November 2020.

SARHAD is a leading national organization with over two decades of experience in delivering sustainable development interventions since 2003. SARHAD has successfully implemented more than 40 mega projects in close association with different national and international programs, including Family Health International (FHI), Abt Associates Inc., ASP-Aid, NRSP through USAID, AUSAID, NRC, UNDP, UNICEF, UNOCHA, Community World Services (CWS), RELO US State Department,  Provincial Health Services Academy (PHSA), and Department of Health (DoH) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, etc. in the sectors of Health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, and Energy. Through its community-driven and evidence-based approaches, SARHAD has built a strong reputation for effectiveness, accountability, and long-term impact. The organization maintains a dedicated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) section that reports directly to the Chief Executive, ensuring transparency, continuous learning, and timely decision-making across all projects. SARHAD has been honored by the President of PAKISTAN for its efforts and services during and after the 2009 floods.
